New Zealand has definitely been a dream come true and an unforgettable experience for me. I always wanted to challenge myself a bit, to travel alone, but also to get some further work experience during an internship and to improve my English language. That’s why, for me, going to New Zealand was the best decision, because I was able to combine traveling through a beautiful country and gain some work experience in a field, I am interested in.

I have really had a good time and so much fun with all the other interns, especially the ones from Denmark, cause we did lots of trips and activities together, and I still remember Christmas Eve with a great dinner, presents and all our European traditions. Also, the team at the residential home I worked in, was a lovely bunch of people from many different countries and cultural backgrounds, and in the end I think, we all learned a bit from each other.
